Amsterdam -- part III

Last of the pictures from Amsterdam...

Me by the canal

They have these cool bikes all over Holland...
... and little kids ride in the 'basket' part.  Awesome!
Canals
more lovely shutters...

The Anne Frank House
The line to get into the Anne Frank House!  It wrapped around
the block.  Sadly, we did not have enough time to go and visit it.
But... that just gives me a good excuse to come back and visit again!

Man, oh man!

It's a little after 6:00am and I'm just getting back from school.  Yes, that's right... I pulled my first official all-nighter since I was a sophmore in college.  I think that I'm getting too old for this.

Nothing's better than working on a group project and getting to school at 8:30am on Thursday and not leaving until almost 6:00am on Friday... and I have to be back at school at 9:00am for a class. To make everything just a little bit better, I hopped in the shower that I was so looking forward to taking -- and there was NO HOT WATER.  Lovely.  I've decided that this is the only hiccup that is going to happened today, and the rest of the day will be fabulous.  It HAS to be!  It's finally Friday! :)

Amsterdam -- part II

Is that red pair of glasses for a cyclops!?!  I don't get it!
Love these shutters!
Food vending machines!  They're all over
the city.  It looked pretty good, too! :)

The Netherlands -- Amsterdam

After the Highlands trip, I went to The Netherlands for a few days to visit my friend Dasha with some girls from my Marketing class.  Here are the highlights from Amsterdam!

She wouldn't let us in... :(

Highlands -- video

This spot was probably the most beautiful place I have ever seen.  I seriously wanted to stick a 'Maureen' flag in the ground and claim that land as my own.  Sadly, a castle had already claimed that spot.  But I promise that my house won't take up too much room!  My address will be 'Behind Dunstaffnage Castle, By the water, Somewhere in Scotland'.  So you can send my mail to that address from here on out.

The video doesn't do it justice... but I think that you get the picture.   :)

Higlands -- Inverness

The last stop on our Highlands trip was Inverness.  It was a really cute city with lots of shopping!  It was nice to walk around and just see the sights, and walk along the river.  Lovely!  That was the last night of our trip.  :(  But it was oh so fun!
